The Chief Maloney Memorial Golf Classic was held annually between 2012 through 2021. In early 2021, we announced that we would be ending the event after ten successful years.
Tim Maloney, Vice President of the Memorial Fund and Chief Maloney's brother said, "Our goal when we started the Memorial Fund was to help heal our community and to support a lasting legacy for the Chief, one that reflected the positive impact he had on the Seacoast. The broad-based community support we've received throughout the years, especially from our golfers, has allowed us to close this fundraising aspect of the Memorial Fund, knowing that we will be able to continue to support our first responders and their families, in a meaningful way, for decades to come."
Dawn Sawyer, President of the Fund said, "Hosting ten years of successful golf classics has helped us award over 100 academic scholarships, support multiple community enrichment projects, and most importantly, provide direct financial assistance to families of first responders who have lost their loved ones in the line of duty. I'm really proud of what we've been able to accomplish."

The Chief Maloney Unity 10K road race was held annually from 2013 to 2020, bringing together runners, walkers, and community members in honor of Chief Michael Maloney.
The race began at the Stratham Police Department and followed a scenic route through town, finishing at the Greenland Police Department, where Chief Maloney proudly served his community.
Tens of thousands of participants joined us over the years, including a strong showing of law enforcement officers and first responders. The event also featured a crowd-favorite: the unforgettable .1K race (perfect for those of us who forgot to train), especially popular with our youngest residents and those more into cheering than running.
Thanks to the support of generous sponsors and the efforts of thousands of volunteers, all proceeds benefited the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund, which continues to provide scholarships, community enrichment grants and supports first responders and their families.
The Chief Maloney Night of Heroes is a bi-annual gala event, celebrating our local public safety members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
The ceremony is designed as a way to recognize exceptional acts in the line of duty, as well extraordinary service over an entire career by a group of individuals that don't receive or seek out praise.
