What is the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund?

The Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, headquartered in New Hampshire, which provides charitable services to the Seacoast of New Hampshire's First Responders and is dedicated to fostering public safety through community enrichment projects, education and outreach.

Who are the leaders of the Memorial Fund?

Consisting primarily of former Law Enforcement and first responder families from the Seacoast area, the Board brings a deep sense of community and civic pride to the fund and strives to honor the memory of the Chief in all its endeavors.

Are the victims of this tragedy involved in the Memorial Fund?

The Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund does not represent or speak for the victims’ families. One of our primary goals, however, is to support those directly impacted by this type of tragedy and to provide immediate financial assistance to those in need. There are two members of Chief Maloney’s family on the board: Tim Maloney is the Chief’s brother and Kathleen Lahey is the Chief's sister. None of the money raised by the Chief Maloney Memorial Fund go to the Chief's family.

Do any contributions go to the Chief’s family?

No. 100% of monies raised go to supporting the local community.

Is the Memorial Fund a political organization?

We are a non-partisan group with supporters from across the political spectrum.

No. We are wholly dependent on the willingness of people to donate their time, services and products and we're very lucky to have a great group of dedicated folks.
